This message is from GREATER HOUSTON PARTNERSHIP
|Early voting for the primary runoff elections started today, and the Partnership encourages you and your company’s employees to vote. In our 11-county region, there are 28 primary runoff races in which no candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote on March 6. Depending on your ballot, there are candidates for governor, U.S. Congress, state legislature and county offices.
Partnership Board Chair Marc Watts urges the business community to become more engaged in the political process, including involvement in elections, especially the primaries.
IMPORTANT PRIMARY RUNOFF ELECTION DATES
During early voting, you can vote at any of the early voting locations; click here to find the one nearest you. On Election Day, you must vote at your designated polling location.
To assist our member companies and their employees, we have updated VoteHouston.org with relevant information to help prepare voters for the primary runoffs. The site contains information about which offices will be on the ballot, what voting in primary runoffs means and where to find your polling location.
This is a critical time for our region. Please take a few minutes to review this information and consider sharing with your employees.
