Copier/printers may experience intermittent problems after a power failure such as not printing, not scanning, error codes or an odd operation. We always recommend turning off the “MAIN” power switch for 10+ seconds and unplug the power cord which may correct these odd problems. The “MAIN” power is usually located behind the copier/printer’s front door, on the back side of the machine next to the power cord or possibly on the left or right side of the unit. A lot of copier/printers have a “power” button on the righthand side of the machine’s display panel. This power button does not turn off power to the machine. It turns off the display. Be sure and turn off the “Main” power switch to help correct any odd machine problems.
