The story is that, in 1952 four men rode horses from Brenham, Texas to Houston, Texas to promote the Houston Fat Stock show, now known as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Today over two thousand people will ride into Houston to camp tonight before tomorrow’s Parade through downtown. A lot of these riders will camp overnight in Memorial Park. We hope the weather is kind to them, however it looks like the usual expected cooler weather with rain may be in store for all of us. Trail Riders on the Storm.
