- IntSights is reporting that hackers are ramping up their ransomware attacks on healthcare:
- “They (healthcare facilities) are very vulnerable right now, so hackers are definitely targeting healthcare and hospitals to take advantage”
- “are willing to pay right now because they can not afford to be shut down”
- LabCorp, which recently suffered a massive breach that exposed PHI of 7 million patients, has been hit by multiple lawsuits for allegedly “ignoring persistently deficient cybersecurity measures”
