An electrical storm pasted thru your area overnight. The next morning you arrive to work and find that the office MFP will not print or scan documents to your email. Both problems could be solved just by turning off the MFP’s main power switch and unplugging the MFP’s power cord from the electrical wall outlet. Wait at least 15 seconds before plugging in the power cord and turning on the power switch. Wait another minute to allow the MFP to reconnect to the network. Test for proper operation of the MFP. If problems still persist the culprit might be fault of a network device such as a switch or router. Notify your network support team before unplugging power to a switch or router.
